Marc Morey

Our 2024 Vintage Allocation Has Arrived!

Domaine Marc Morey stands as one of the most esteemed estates in the Côte de Beaune. Currently, their wines are distributed by 18 importers across 14 countries, with a select quantity reserved for exceptional local restaurants and private clients from Europe, who frequently visit the domaine. Celebrated for their finesse, freshness, minerality, and opulence, Morey wines genuinely embody the essence of Burgundy.

The vineyards and winemaking processes are expertly managed by Sabine Mollard, the granddaughter of Marc Morey and the great-granddaughter of Fernand Morey, who first introduced vines to the village after returning from World War I. In the 1930s, the domaine was among the pioneers in bottling and selling its own wine, and today, it produces approximately 60,000 bottles annually from 9.5 hectares located in Chassagne, Puligny, and St. Aubin. Environmental respect is of utmost importance in the vineyards, where the domaine adheres to the principles of lutte raisonnée, utilizing only natural and organic treatments when necessary to address rot, mildew, or oidium.

Sabine’s winemaking techniques focus on maintaining the freshness and vibrancy of each vintage, as well as highlighting the unique character of each parcel’s terroir. Her aim is to craft wines that are expressive and approachable when young, while also possessing the structure and balance required for aging and complex development. The outcome is a remarkable blend of minerality, richness, elegance, and finesse that leaves a lasting impression.
